Types of Sweeps

AGEP’ sweep range includes three general types, each of which is divided into further, more specialized designs.

• Quick change: Quick change sweep systems enable you to adjust your cultivators by adding or removing different types of sweeps depending on the kind of tilling and farming you want to do. Mounting and removing sweeps is a fast and easy job and does not require any additional tools, nuts or bolts once the quick change bracket is in place.
• Bolt-on: Bolt-on sweeps are permanently attached to the cultivator with nuts and bolts and take more time to change. These older systems are used by farmers who do not to change their tilling methods and specifications often. If you know the make and model of your tilling system, we can supply the sweeps you need.
• Specialty: We also supply sweeps for a variety of specialized farming operations, including Heel, Danish, Bedding and Peanut sweeps, as well as furrowers, row crops and tender plant hoes.
